Super Duty StripTill on Folding FrameBigham Brothers introduces our all new Super Duty Strip Tillage Tool. Row unit mounts to 4x7 or 7x7” tool bar. Rear gang is welded from structural tube and may be equipped with virtually any combination of attachments.

This tool provides you with the advantages of precision applied tillage zones to remove compaction and hardpan, while leaving traffic zones firm. Use this rugged tail gang and equip it in virtually any configuration on the following types of tool bars:

Bigham Brothers Super Duty Strip Tillage Tool tills the planting strips for better crop growing conditions and increased water holding capacity, firms and prepares the seedbed for optimum planting results and allows for placement of fertilizer and herbicides. This tool is designed to handle large amounts of crop residue while providing the advantages of combined field operations to reduce field trips. Gang Features
Parallel Linkage:
  • 1” Diameter Pivot Bolts, not 5/8 or 3/4”
  • Plastic wear bushings keep the linkage assembly tight and do not require grease.

Front Coulter:

  • . 1-1/8” Arbor Bolt
  • Two heavy 208 series domestic sealed bearings in each coulter hub
  • Adjust coulter depth with easy adjusting handle.

Gang Operating Features:

  • Optimized tool spacing. Maximum trash and soil flow between tillage components is based on four years field experience.
  • Only three grease zerks per row. Greasing interval is once each operating season.
 Row Cleaner:
  • Patented notch design is effective in clearing residue in front of the tillage shank.

Tillage Shank Options:

  • Stunning variety of shanks to match your tillage and application requirements.
  • Mole knives are available with standard wear cap items and optional heavy duty caps and tube protector shins.
  • Exclusive optional angled leg tillage. Not available on any other strip tillage unit.
  • Heavy optional shanks to meet deeper tillage and application requirements.
  • Exclusive ‘trash flow’ knives with unitized shanks.
 Rear Basket:.
  • Largest diameter basket on the market.
  • Basket weldment features 1-1/2” shaft and flange bearings with triple lip seals.
  • Seal moisture, break up clods and prepare the seedbed.

Rear Tillage Discs:

  • Choose the disc option that matches your StripTill preference.
  • Penetrate the tillage zone, create a berm or use disc bedders to throw up a bed.
  • Tillage discs are mounted on flat shanks with a positive hexagon angle adjustment feature.
  • Each blade is adjustable vertically and laterally on the toolbar.
